Almquist City Manager City of Ashland City Hall Ashland, OR 97520 Dear Mr. Almquist: I apologize for the "run-around" you received from U S WEST Communications. I replaced Walt Huff. He is now retired from this company, and since I am in Helena Montana and he was in Seattle, Washington, there is sometimes a delay in the mail . I can't, however, blame the mail for the total delay in responding to your request. The problem I had with your request is that we no longer have any contracts in Oregon with other Power Companies that require this type of information. I see from the files that Walt would just forward the schedule that we had agreed to use with P P & L in Oregon. The only data base that I have available to use is our own price data base. We call this the Broad Gauge and it tracks the costs and then we are able to pull reports from this to use for pricing out our outside plant jobs. I have used this for the attached forms amd I realize there are some differences from the last schedule, but if it is agreeable with you, we can use this information for yearly updates.
