Also the Oregon Office of Energy will discuss the state of renewable energy within the state that can be used as a context to measure the City's efforts. These ideas will be shared and discussed with the Council at this study session. Recommendation: This session is for informational purposes only. Fiscal Impact: None Background: This City has launched a new Resource efficient new home program called Earth Advantage and we have added some new program initiatives and increased our solar water heating and electric generation rebates. We will discuss these items and answer questions concerning these things with the Council. Also Christopher Dymond of the Oregon Department of Energy will give a presentation on solar happenings in Oregon that was recommended to us by Councilor Amarotico who saw this presentation previously.
