WHEREAS, the historic houses and buildings of Ashland help make our City unique and provide links with aspirations and attainment of the ` City's pioneers and their descendants; and < WHEREAS, these fine examples of 19th and early 20th century buildings contribute to an appreciation of our heritage; and ='I � PP g , I � 111? .
