Earlier this year, Councilor Lemhouse suggested that there should be time on each Council business meeting agenda for Councilors to make general announcements of community interest. In response to the Mayor's request for Council input on that idea, Councilor Slattery requested that the matter be brought to a study session for discussion. 2. At a recent Council meeting, some confusion arose over whether it is appropriate or allowable for Councilors to question or otherwise interact with individuals who speak to the Council during the Public Forum section of the regular business meetings. The Municipal Code section on Public Forum is silent on this issue. Again, in response to the Mayor's request for Council input on that idea, Councilor Slattery requested that the matter be brought to a study session for discussion.
