AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND'WITHDRAWING CERTAIN
RECENTLY ANNEXED REAL PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY FIRE
DISTRICT NO. 5 (TOLMAN CREEK ROAD ANNEXATION)
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The land described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto,
situated in the City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon is hereby
withdrawn from Jackson County Fire District No. 5 pursuant to the
provisions of ORS 222.524.
SECTION 2. The City of Ashland elects to pay the bonds of the
Special Taxing Districts pursuant to the provisions of ORS
222.520(2) (b).
The foregoing Ordinance was first read on the

Commencing at the corner common to Sections 11, 12, 13 and 14 in Township 39 South,
Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian in Jackson County, Oregon, thence North
36.50 feet, thence West 2467.30 feet to a 3/4" galvanized iron pipe located on the
northerly boundary of the Green Springs Highway, thence South 85°53'10" West, along
said boundary, 40.57 feet, thence North 89o49'30" West 209.98 feet to a 5/8" iron pin on
the boundary established by Agreement recorded in Volume 566 page 459 of the Deed
Records of Jackson County, Oregon, thence North 0°10'30" East, along said boundary,'
250.00 feet to a 5/8" iron pin, thence South 89o49'30" East, along said boundary, 50.00
feet to a 5/8" iron pin for the true point of. beginning; thence North of the southwesterly
line of Interstate Highway No. 5; thence along said southwesterly line as follows: South
26o38'00" East 204.08 feet to a 5/8" iron pin, South 18039'50" East 504.88 feet to a 5/8"
iron pin, and South 13045'30" East 359.03 feet to the northeast corner of tract described
in Volume 567 Deeds page 167; thence North 89049'30" West, along the north line of
said tract, 329.58 feet to the true point of beginning.
