BOILER Locoriotive style :jade from extra heavy plate, far
exceeding the standard requirements for boiler
construction to carry tine sw_1e steam pressure.
The plate is :Made of t tae best quality omen hearth
homogeneous flange steel of the most approved test
for tensile strength, 1i~.it of elast i city, elonga-

T'he fire box is constructed of the best quality
fire box steel Dl~,Lte, strongly and closely stayed.
The shell is triple riveted where side plates
connect to shell, and double riveted elsewhere, and
the fire box is stayed with crown bars. Large "nand
.soles are su]palied both above and below the tubes,
about the crown sheet and in the grater, legs, making
the boiler thoroughly accessible for cleaning.
TEST Boiler tested to 250 77,s . by-d_r_ ostatic pressure and
guaranteed perfectly tight.
ENGINE To be f~ rnished with double cylinders 5-5/811 x 9"
stroke, made in one casting, which inclines bored
crosshead glides (insuring perfect alignment) and
the valve chambers. The space between the cylinders
forms the steam. done. The throttle valve and gov-
ernor are located on top of the dome, slaking only
three face joints in the entire arrangements which
reduces the possibility of leaking and necessity of
repair to a minirnum. The double cylinder avoids
the possibility of the engine stopping on :the center,
is always ready to start the machine and equall.ze the
strain on the countershafts Rnd connecting parts.

C ONNECT ING
RODS Made of fine grade of steel, fitted with gun metal
boxes, easily adapted for wear and all parts of
the most appro ed designs and dimenai-ons.
B-OXLS The main pedestal boxes are very large in diameter
also in length, made of phoaphorus bronze. All
boxes so arranged as-to be easily removed.
GENERAL
REMARKS All of our rollers are furnished and fitted-with
all our modern improvti meets and in the general
construction we take s,?ecial pride. We have
spared neither pains nor money to Xe our rollers
complete and perfect. Inspeotion of 'our rollers
will show that in all the details that go to make
up a first- -lass machine, our roller is unequalled.

We call special attention to the convenience of
all the working puts which are arranged so that
they can be easily gotten at either for oiling or
adjusting. All rollers are thoroughly and com-
pletely tested in every part of the apparatus.
