The council next proceeded to consider a prapased ordinance entitled "Ordinance for the purpa~e of re-adcrting, ratifyine~ and canfirminf Ordinance ??o. 77j pf the City of Ashland, Ja,clson County, Ore~Tan, relative to the tax levy for the year 1~~~3." The or~inande laving been read the first time, on motion, the rules 1{~c;re suspende~~r. six voting in favor thereof and the ordinance ~~as pasrved to the second reading.
