The vote was as follows: Ayes Burdic, Detrick, Peters, ~,'~i1ey, Wright; nays none. Carried. The council next considered a cor~~rnunicat .on fro.l firs. Fdna Brad'ourn askin~~ that the City eithe~~ purchase her tract of land in Ashland Creek Canyon or grant her permission to cut t]Ze tl.,~bei'. Motion made anc~ seconded that ]1~rs. Bra,dburn ,oe granted permission to c,.~t the tirn'oe~° on hen property. Carried. D.]:~.Zowe and others a.~.so addressed the council asking that the City assist tr~e:~ in keeping their cattle out of the ~~raters]~ed by chancing the fence and ~Alaintainin; sale. ~ot~ion made and seconded that triis rllatter be left to he Water Cor~u:littee for investigation and report at the next council ~reetin~. Ca:,~ried. A ca,munication from~r _uc~Tab'o was next read regarding an incy^ease in his ala:y beginning Jan 1. 192. On motion, indigents now rece:ivin~ free ~r~ter~~~xid lights were g_~anted six .uonths additional at the pleasuxe ~f the council.
