II.G.Enders adC.ressed the council asking for perrAssio-La to install a gas filling
station it 'the sidewalk adjoining his ,rarehouse on A Street. He stated there were
some other matters he wished to bring before the council. First- he objected to the
action of the council at a previous meeting in allowing H.D.IvIc 1air to put up a filling
station on the City's property on Park .venue. Second- he asked that the council
re-consider its action on Jan. .5th c-1d gr~,r~t l.`-r. Z. uilty a license to operate his
pool tables.

The City anager brought up the matter of buying a new sign for Lithia Park @.G we-11
as the uto CL-Imp Ground. He stated that Strickland of the Federal Sign Comp iy had
prepared a sketch of a sign ~~rliich was satisfactory to the Chamber of Commerce and- he felt
free to recommend that the City pay a portion. of the cost of said sign. "he total cost
of the sign is to be .689.30. Of this amount one half is to be paid by the Park Board.,
one-fourth by the Chamber of Commmerce end the remainder'by the City. The City 1`anager
recomrx~end.ed that this sum be paid from the Electric Light Depreciation Fund. :,,loved by
