Ashland: Oregon, Sept. 25, 1926.
The council met pursuant to last adjournment at 8 o'clock P.I~.7. on this date.
Present Mayor Johnson; Councilmen Burdic, High, Peters, Taylor, ~~Jiley, d`Jright; absent
none.

On motion, the council opened under the head of unfinished business. engineer Frank x.`
Dillard at this time submitted his estimate of the cost of building a reservoir in l~shland
Creek Canyon at what is knovTn as the Rangers Station Site. The estimated cost was fixed by
~~~r. Dillard at w351,000. Other improvements contemplated by the council were as follows:

Purchasing additional water from the `j'alent Irrigation D. 22,000.00 ,p~ Extending Talent Distribution system 5,000.00 E

After some discussion it was moved by Wright, seconded by High that the Council place
on the November ballot tie proposition of bonding the City ~~or X450,000.00 for building a f dam of approxima~,ely 600 acre feet capacity at the
Rangers Station Site, the building of
a reservoir on or near Crowson Hill and for yhe replacement and extension of the distribu- ` ~ tion system. The vote eras as follows : Ayes
Burdic, High, Peters, Taylor, Ailey. '~`~right;
nays none. Carried.
I~Ioved by Taylor seconded by Burdic that the council place on the ballot separa~`ely at
the November elec pion the proposition of expending X15,000.00 on rebuilding the Lithia
Aprings Zine. Carried unanimoualy.
I62oved by Wright seconded by Taylor that the council place on the ballot at the Nov. election the proposition of purchasing 200 additional acre feet
from the Talent Irriga-
tion District at a cost of not to exceed X22,000.00. Carried unanimously. E=;a ~ ~ `j On motion, the council adjourned to meet l~2onday,

amounting to 550.00, for approximate cost to date of constructing the rest room in
the park was presented. ~7oved by Wright seconded by Peters that said bill be allowed
and warrant ordered .drawn in favor thereof. Carried unanimously.
On motion, the council adjourned subject to call.
