The council met in regular session at 8 o'clock P.isA. on this cs,te. Present ~,~Iayor
Johnson; Councilmen High, Peters, Taylor, Wiley, '~dright; absent Hardie.
Minutes of the previous meeting were ready and approved as read.
Communication from S. S. D~.vies~ Eugene Spencer and Dayton H. llortridge, asking
that the city construct two crosswalks on Seventh Street tivas read and on motion of k
Taylor seconded by High laid on the table. ~
Request of H. 0. Butterfield for refund of amount paid by him for lovrering the sewer was road and referred to the City Engineer. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

The proposed ordinance providing for the transfer of funds from the Electric Light ~fi
Fund to the Street Fund virus again discussed. t~'1oved by ~~dright seconded by Taylor that ~
the percentage be changed from ten per cent to seven per cent. 'he vote vin the motion
was as follocArs ~ Ayes High, Peters, `T'aylor, Wiley, ~'~right; nays none. Carried.
On motion, T. II. Simpson-, B. I',1. Shoudy, J.H.I,~IcGee, S. B. 1~,cN~.ir, A. E. riinney,
E. D. Bz~iggs and C. C. ,~°eisenburger were ~ppoir_ted the Budget Committee and the Recorder

Councilman High brought up the matter of changing the entrance to the 1~.ountain
Vietiv Cemetery recommencing that the gate be put on the corner. IrS. High stated that

the issuance of City Improvement Bond in the matter of laying a see",per in ~~~hat has been

motion, the rules were, five voting in favor thereof, an~~ the ordinance was passed to the

The council next proceeded to consider a resolution entitled "Resolution ordering
the construction of a set~~~er in what is hcr;in designated as Sewer District ~~o. 28, the
~.a cost of such construction to be paid by special assessment on the property benefited
thereby." The resolution caving been read the first time, on motion, the rL~.les were ~
suspended, five voting in favor thereof, and the ~°esolution was gassed to the second

The council next proceeded to consider a resolution entitled "Resolution ordering

cost of such construction to be paid by special assessments on the property benefited
thereby." The resolution having been read the first time, on motion, the rules v~ere
suspended, five voting in favor thereof, and the resolution was p~.ssed to the second
reading. Havung been read the second time, roll call w~:.s ordered on its adoption. The vote tivas as follows: Ayes High, Peters, Taylor, ~~~iley,
Wright; nays none.
Thereupon the Mayor declared the resolution adopted. ~ s
On motion, the council adjourned subject to call.
