declare each measure or question receiving a majority of votes to be the law of the
city. _
r~2otion made and seconded that the bill of Engine~;r Dillard for engineering work
to Oct. 5th, amounting to X330.30, be allowed and warrant drawn in payment thereof.
Ayes Peters, Taylor, bright, nays none. Carried.
On motion ,the council ~~djourned subject to call of the Mayor.

The council met at the call of the ~~~iayor at 8 o'clock p.m, on this date. Pz°esent
Mayor Johnson; Councilmen High, Peters, Taylor, Ailey, ti°dright; absent Hardie.
Minutes of the meetings of Nov. 3rd and Nov. .9th were read and approved as read.
Bill of Frank Jordan, amounting to X618.23, for balance due for building rest room
was presented. Motion made and seconded th4~t said bill be c1ao~AJed and warrant ordered
drawn in payment thereof. Roll call as follows: Ayes ~~igh, Peters, Taylor, Wiley,
'~~tri~ht; nays none. Carried.
Request of ~+rs. Hattie Abbott that the city replace the ~ brick on her building
on East ~~~'Iain St. which she claimed were loosened by electY~ic wires attached to the build-
ing b y the city was presented and, on motion, laid on the table.
The hour of 8:30 o'clock having arrived the council proceeded to open the bids
submitted for -fainting the hospital;

Carried unanimously.
On recommendation of Islr. ~?igh motion was made and seconded that R~~rs. lt~tildred
Van Bus~tirk be granted free ~Faater and lights to Jan. 1, 1927. Carried.

Attorney be instructed get definite proposition from the Citizens Bank if possible,
