The council nest proceeded to consid;r a resolution entitled "F.esolution accepting ~x  A deeds of canvey-nce from the trustees of the C.G. Root Jstate, C~, expre ;sing the appre ro ciation of the City for same." The resolution having been read the first time, on motion, the rules wer4 suspended, five voting in favor thereof, and the resolution was passed to the second reaa.Laving been read the se-cond time, roll call was ordered on its adoption.
