for the year 192, as published, the council proceeded to consider a proposed city ordinance
entitled "Ordinance levying a tai ~~~r the year 1928 in the sum of w79,101.00, upon all
the real and personal property subject to assessment and levy within the limits of the t ~A` City of Ashland, Jackson County, Oregon, said
levy to be made up of the particular appro-
priations mentioned herein." The ordinance havin~~ been read the first time, on motion, the
~:'r rules wore sus~r,er.ded, four votira~° in favor thereof, and the or°diriance vfus passed to the
second reading. Having bAen read the second time, roll call was ordered an its ~c~~ptio .

asked to have applied on his rent, amounting to x,35,25, was referred to the Realty Committee
