Councilman Claycornb reported that he had intervie~red I,ss. Denton rega~~ding the
matter of changing the sidewalk crossing at her north I~~;ain Street property. Ile said ld,rs. Denton stated that she had a"atained permission ~f the
Street Commissioner to have E~
this crossing constructed and she felt that she should not be required to stand the
expense of r_nal~ing the change. It eras decided th~.t the City rake the necessary changes.

Councilman ~'~'enner presented. the plans of t11e Cemetery Commit~:~ee regardin,- caro of
the ceme~~eries. It eras mooed by Bergner secol~ded by `T'aylor that the Cemetery Committee
be authorized to hire a Sexton at a salary of x;100.00 per month. Carried unanimously.
The matter of installing a sprinl.~ling system in the cemeteries v~ras left to the
Cemetery Committee.
Councilman Hersey recommended tl~e purchase oi' a Ford Coupe for the :electric Night
Department and the trading in o:~''the old Chevrolet, the total cost to the City to be
t;~488.00. ~~oved by Taylor s:~conded by Ber~r~er that the City purchase a :Ford Coupe on tie
terms s~ec:ifzed. Cart°ied u7.~anarnously.
