The council met at the call of the Ix~ayor at 7:30 o'clock P.I~r. on this date. Pre-
sent playor Thorntonl Councilmen Bergner, Blake, Claycomb, ~~ersey, Tayler, F~~enner; absent

Bills ~r~d transfers O.K'd by the Finance Committee, amounting to X20,232.67, were
read in total amount only. ~:~Iotion was made any seconded t~lat said bills be allowed and
warrants ordered q.ra~vm in iaaymnt thereof. The vote was as follows : Ayes Bergner, Blake f
,Claycomb, Hersey, l'ayler, r~enner; nays none. Carried.
A petition signed by eighteen citizens acking the council to have removed the
barn, sheds and fence enclosing the barnyard on the property of F:~s. Emily l~Iorgan at the corner of ti}Jimer and Almond Streets, irrss read and referred
to the City Attorney.
The following building permits were granted:
212 Geo. I~riason- to erect a dwelling on Almond Street X1,000.00 ~F 213 Earl P. Mutter, to build residence on Van ~~Qess l~.ve, 1,000.00
IiIoved by Bergner seconded by Blake that the Recorder be authorized to transfer
~ ~ 150.00 from the Electric Zight Fund to the Publicity 8. Chautaucua Fund as a loan.
Carried uhanimously.
Moved by Bergner seconded by Blake that the Recorder be authorized to transfer
not ~o exceed ~~5,000 from the ►filater ~~~orks Construction Fund to the Operating eJater
Fund as a loan. Carried unanimously.

year be ciscontir~ucd► and that the police office and j~~il be rer~ode~ed and improved,
~Te suggested that the cost of this improvement be borne by the E'lec~ric Light depart-
ment .

transfer~3,500.00 from the '~lec ~~ric Light Fund to Interest Bonds Fund as a loan.
Carried unanimously.

Councilman' Bergner's resignation as a membeY~ of the Boxing Comr~lission to become
