B" IT R~ISOLV.~ by the Tiayor and Common Council Qf the City of Ashland that the
Ore~IDn State Ilighv~ay Commission be given the vrholehearted support of the adrninistra-
Lion of the City of Ashland in ins effort to realign and rebuild to a new aril prac-
tical grade and location the ~ cific ?-righti^ray frorl 1Lshland south to the California line.
BF FURTI~~R 7~TSOI,V~'D, that the 1;T,ayor and Common Council of the City of Ash-
land believe that, excepting the individuals who have places of business on the line
of the Bald highway, the people of ",shland and vicinity are practically unanimous
in favor of the proposed nevr grade and route from :shland south to the Cali~'ornia
line.
BF IT ~'URTII ~R ~~nSOI,V~ that we urge the said State Highway Commission to effect
the proposed improvement and cctru:~ence the s~~me at the earliest possible moment.

It was moved by Claycornb seconded by Blake that the Z"eater Supt. be authorized to go ahead with taking the old pipe out of the dam and putting
it in Roco Canyon to take care
of the overflow from the Talent Ditch. The vote was as follows: :yes- Blake, Claycornb,
Hersey, Tayler, ~"Jenner; nays none. C~Arried.
~ The h;~ayor appointed V`l. C . Mitchell, Fred i~Ieil and V~1m; ~ Dyers a Board of Viewers to
determine and assess the special benefits accruing fo the properties in Sewer District I~Io.

the following streets and alleys in the City of Ashland, Oregon, to-wit: Van Ness Avenue,
