Realt Moved by ~~renner that G. F. ~Tard, 767 East Main resume payments of X5.00 per month
and in Brest on this property and that the Recorder advise them by letter to do so. Seconded
and carried.

City limits yeas on notion by Claycomb, referred to the City .~tto~~ne~r to submit a proposed
Ordinance at the ne1~t meeting. Seconded by Taylor. Carried.

The Air-Port being in need of a new wind indicator (Socks and irrigation ditch or pipe

';p Taylor moved that the closinb of the street in rear of the 0. H. Rose property on Hill-
crest be referred to the Street Committee for report. Seconded by Gregg. Carried..
7►~oved by Gregg that the City ~ttornejT attend the meeting of the Hightivay Commission at Portland and the heague of Oregon Cities at Eugene. Seconded
and carried.
The petition for paving Union Street from Boulevard to Fairview and also the petition f~
paving one bloc:: on :~llison Street was discussed. Moved by ~"~enner that the City publish its
intention to pave these three blocks and a hearing set: for 8 P. ~1. June 6th, 1933. Seconded
and Qarried.
On motion, the council adjourned to meet at the call of the hf~ayor.

and Sanitary Committee.
An ordinance regarding the stoz~age of explosives changed to meet the requirements of the

Consideration of changes irr tree City Jail were brought up and suggestion that a jail

contract employing over 100 men, applied for free water nor rile boilers. ?roved by Tayler that

Henry ~wrter asY~ed the council to have approxirlately 10 acres of 7..and taken out of the ".ity limits. This land ►~eing loca~ed on the edge of torn
~et~7een the railroad tracts and Bear Creek.

paving on :Alison Street and t11e necessity of grading. He stated that in the vrinter ~~ahen it
was wet, cars were una~le to get out fro.1 the lo~aer side of the street. Follo~ving some dis-
cussion, it was moved by Tayler, seconded by Bey°gne~° an~z carried that the question be referred
to the Street Department z"or a report.

Recorder's Office be made available fo~:° the office of rile Ashland Chamber of Commerce in the
event they desired to move. Loved by `,';enner that the City made the present location of City
