i,r. Stearns of Ly'orand, Ross ~L°os. and I.ontgoc~er~r ~;ras present and discussed the audit
to date. He suggested the elir~ination of complete verification of tare vaatr:r and light
accounts, their reconstruction, incorie fror.i water, light, cemeteries and sundry cash
receipts and confirmation of balances of water, light area assessrlents, and verification of
proceeds of bonds sLlodan outstanding at Decer.2ber 31, 1932.
i~~~oved by ~~'denner that the schedule of eliminations as suggested by I~ir. Stearns be
approved ana auttlority to proceed in accordance with the outline made for the completion
of the audit be granted and upon cor,~pletio~l o~ so,ule to proceed ~~~it}1 the installation of i
the new system. Seconded by Gregg, carried.

In vietiv of the new system of accounting to 5e installed and in order to prevent the
possibility of the election of a person not ciualified for the office of recorder, who
would be unable to maintain the nevr system due to lace: of training ana e~~perience in
~~G,, accounting,it was suggested tht~t the office be made an appointive ore. ~~oved by `~`~enner ~ that the ~~it ~ttorne re are an amendment
to the Cit Charter ma~iin~~ the office of ~Cit

Moved by Tayler that the City i~ttorney prepare a memorial asking; that these certain
sections of timber land be set aside far the Rogue giver Tyationa,l Forest as suggested by
Mr. Yannoch, secondea by :Make. Carried.
A bill from the Claycor:ib Motor Company for the new police car for X639.46 was pre-
sented, same having mane the 1oviest yid. ;loved by Gregg that the bill be allowed.

The subject of tennis courts uvas brought up by 1ippletiahite and considerable discussion
held, but no action tai~en.
