HomeMy WebLinkAbout2018-018-Addendum contract -Brown Chudleigh, Schuler, Meyer & Associates ADDENDUM TO CITY OF ASHLAND CONTRACT FOR PERSONAL SERVICES LESS THAN $35,000 Addendum made this 2nd day of Janua , 2018, between the City of Ashland ("City") and Brown Chudleigh Schuler Myers and Associates Real Estate Appraisals ("Consultant"). Recitals: A. On November 29, 2017, City and Consultant entered into a "City of Ashland Contract for Personal Services Less than $35,000" (further referred to in this addendum as "the agreement"). B. The parties desire to amend the agreement to extend the date of completion and modify the scope of services. City and Consultant agree to amend the agreement in the following manner: 1. The date for completion as specified in Paragraph 3 of the agreement is extended to February 15, 2018. 2. The scope of services is modified to add the appraisal of the three tax lots known as the 8 Street Yard within the City of Ashland, Oregon. The fee for these services is $4,250. 00, which includes two value scenarios based on two different zones per the proposal attached as Exhibit A. 3. Except as modified above the terms of the agreement shall remain in full force and effect. Dear Mr. Welch: Based upon your request, we are pleased to submit a proposal for appraisal services to be rendered in connection with the above referenced property. It is our understanding that this appraisal will be utilized by the City of Ashland potential sale and/or internal decision making purposes. Upon authorization to proceed, we shall prepare an appraisal to determine the market value of the fee simple Interest in the subject property. The fee for the assignment is $4,250 which includes the two value scenarios based on two different zones as requested by the client. The appraisals will be completed on or before 45 days of authorization to proceed. It is my understanding the City of Ashland will forward a contract for professional services to be executed.
