As Grantor and owner of the property listed above, Grantor hereby consents to the following restrictive covenants as required by the City
of Ashland by ordinance in order to permit land use activities on the Subject property that, presently, are legally ambiguous between federal
and state law. This restrictive covenant is to be binding upon Grantor, its heir(s), executors, and assigns, and it is Grantor's express intention
that this restrictive covenant shall run with the land and shall be binding upon future owners of the property.
Action: The Grantor or property owner waives any claim or right to hold the City liable for damages it or a tenant may suffer
from state or federal enforcement actions for activities the City permits as a result of its approval of the proposed use or
development once such approval is granted. Furthermore, the Grantor or owner and tenant agrees not to unreasonably
disobey the City's order to halt or suspend business if state or federal authorities order or otherwise subject the City to
enforcement to comply with laws in contradiction to the continued operations of the business or its activities as permitted
under section 18.2.3
