HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-147 20181182 Adkins Consulting Engineering, LLP AMENDMENT NO. 2 to the CONTRACT FOR PERSONAL SERVICES between THE CITY OF ASHLAND, an Oregon municipal corporation, ("City") and ADKINS CONSULTING ENGINEERING,LLP, ("Contractor") for PRELIMINARY ENGINEERING FOR THE ASHLAND CANAL PIPING PROJECT RECITALS A. The City and Contractor previously entered into a Contract for Personal Services effective January 24, 2018 (the "Agreement") for Contractor to provide Preliminary Engineering necessary for the Ashland Canal Piping Project#2015-17; and B. The City and Contractor previously amended the Agreement to extend its term; and C. The City and Contractor wish to again amend the Agreement to extend its term, to include additional services within Contractor's Scope of Work, and to increase the amount of compensation. AGREEMENT NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual benefits and obligations set forth herein,the parties agree as follows: 1. Amend the Completion Date as follows,with strikeout wording deleted and underscored wording added: COMPLETION DATE: March 31,2019 June 30,2020 2. Amend the Services to be provided by Consultant by including additional services as set forth in Exhibit A, Scope of Work,dated April 11, 2019, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference. 3. This Amendment No. 2 is effective upon being signed by both parties. 3. As request we have outlined a scope and fee to continue miscellaneous services as needed by the City. The expected services are listed below: Scope of Work • Respond to emails and phone calls from the City • Attend one Council study session • Provide other general engineering services as requested by the City on a T&M basis: to include but not limited to items such as memos, research, general correspondence, etc. We propose to perform the Scope of Work described above on a time and materials basis for a fee not to exceed $5,000. Lodging&Pre-Diem shall be charged at State Rates:https://www.gsa.gov/travel-resources Other Cost:Other direct project related costs will be billed at invoice costs which may include but not be limited to: Mileage: $0.58 per mile Outside Services: Cost+10% Postage&Shipping: Actual Cost This rate schedule may be adjusted by the ENGINEER periodically to reflect changes in the ENGINEER'S material and labor costs. Rates for prevailing wage projects will be quoted for each project. These are not prevailing wage rates.
