At the regular Housing and Human Services Commission held on June 24, the Commission heard from
several organizations providing food resources to vulnerable populations throughout the City.
Commissioner Parker, suggested that the Commission put an item on the next agenda to discuss how the
Commission could assist these organizations in continuing to provide this needed resource. One idea
put forward was to plan and hold an outreach event to let the community know how they can assist these
organizations.
