Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 8:30 a.m.
Approval of DiSalvo concept for North Mountain Park Utility Boxes
Garrington provided an overview of the project and components of the intent for the project
theme which reads “This is a request for a quality art piece. The boxes should be taken as a
whole with each box relating to the other with the purpose of creating a single piece of art.
The artwork should create a focal point for the park that draws people to this area as a
location for recycling. The artwork should enhance the experience of the park with a joyful
and colorful nonliteral contemporary design.”
Artist Ann DiSalvo presented her concept and explained she will incorporate circular
geometry, silhouettes of wildlife, and a variety of colors.
The concept provided to the PAC was black and white and difficult to see the designs. The
PAC asked DiSalvo to return for the May 17 meeting and provide the concept in color.
