CITY OF EAGLE POINT GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND AUTHORIZATION - QUESTION: Shall the City issue general obligation bonds not exceeding $3,000,000 to improve the City's wastewater system? If the bonds are approved, they will be payable from taxes on property or property ownership that are not subject to the limits of Section 1 lb, Article XI of the Oregon Constitution. SUMMARY: Bond funds will be used to construct a lift pump, install piping and make other additions, repairs and improvements necessary to connect the City's wastewater system to the Bear Creek Valley Sanitary Authority's regional wastewater facility. The bonds will mature over a period not exceeding 30 years from date of issuance. ASHLAND SCHOOL DISTRICT BUILDINGS AND EQUIPMENT GENERAL OBLIGATION BOND ISSUE - QUESTION: Shall the District be authorized to contract general obligation bonded indebtedness in an amount not to exceed $20,945,000? .o I SUMMARY: Funds derived from the sale of the bonds will be used to finance District facilities including, but not limited to, constructing and equipping an addition to the middle school, replacing through new construction and equipping the Mountain Avenue Complex and Briscoe music facility, repairing and replacing roofing on existing District buildings, purchasing school buses, upgrading technology in all schools, and to pay all costs incidental thereto. The bonds would mature over a period of eleven (11) years or June 1, 2007, whichever is later. END OF BALLOT
