Currently the PD is 6000 square feet, the expansion adds approximately 3000 square feet. The anticipated cost is approximately $1.1 million or $333 per square foot. Odgen oversaw the City's Facility Master Plan process. The expansion adds square footage but does not change the profile for the existing building. General discussion centered primarily on the possibility of converting the Grove, currently 10,000 square feet, to the Police Department freeing the existing PD for other city use. Staff will evaluate potential costs/savings with Ogden. Meeting adjourned at 9:30.
