The following projects were ranked medium priority by the
committee. The committee needs to rank and determine which of
these projects should be added to the high priority list.

Add trellis over seat walls

Add moveable tables and chairs

Replace existing Plaza trees with Plane Sycamore

Expand pavement along the business of North Main across from the Plaza
5
Make improvements to the tree/wall at corner of North Main and
Winburn Way

Consider new street trees to be placed in containers rather than planted

Hang colorful pennants at Exit 14 overpass and Ashland Street
8
Fill tree wells with permeable aggregate
9
Add accent pavers to Plaza
10
Replace all Plaza pavers

The following projects have been identified and need to be ranked.

Add art on wall of Earthly Goods (adjacent to walkway between New
Theater and Starbucks
2
Replace rail at top of Calle staircase and around Bluebird Park
4
Remove sitting access on half wall adjacent to Earthly Goods

Refurbish Plaza poster kiosk
6
Create paver sidewalk crossings at key pedestrian points (similar to the
one at Winburn Way and Calle)
7
Add public restrooms between Plaza and Library
8
Install hanging flower baskets, with irrigation, on all decorative lights on
East Main and the Plaza
9
Add additional off-street parking in the Plaza area (vacant lot on Church
behind Bards Inn
10
Replace damaged sections of sidewalks/eliminate tripping hazards on
existing sidewalks
11 More flower plantings wherever possible
Maintenance These projects will be passed on to the various departments to be

1 Stain/paint rails along Bluebird Park
2 Park bench maintenance in Bluebird Park
3 Black powder coat cobra lights on North Main
4 Repaint all decorative street light heads
5 Repaint/re-install all thremo-plastic parking space delineators
6 Re -install black metal trash cans where missing
7 Rejuvenated landscaping/re-bark all areas in the Lithia
Way/Pioneer parking lot, center island between fire station and
library
8 Re lant or reseed lawn abutting East Main
9 Slurry seal street and parking around Plaza
10 Refurbish Plaza poster kiosk
11 Have all street trees professionally trimmed and topped by a
qualified arborist. Bring down the height of the tallest tree
12 Replace missing slats on bench at the SW corner of East Main and
2nd Street
13 Add new/re-install/repair protective barriers around the ground -
level landscape lights in the Plaza
14 Turn on the Carter statue fountain on the Plaza as well as 1st 2n
3rd streets
15 Refurbish/repair the fountain in front of Black Swan
16 Better sienaae directing tourists to city barkinL areas
