CALL TO ORDER: Chair Anthony Kerwin called the meeting to order at 5:3 5 PM in the Siskiyou Room. Zach Williams has officially resigned from the Commission. II. APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Lewis/Maymar m/s to approve the minutes of July 10,2007 as submitted. Motion passed unanimously. III. ADJUSTMENTS TO THE AGENDA:None V. OLD BUSINESS A. Review and Vote on AFR Implementation,Mitigation and Monitoring Comments to Forest Service —Contract Forester,Marty Main led the meeting. The commission and those present reviewed drafts of recommended implementation,mitigation and monitoring strategies. Kerwin/Maymar m/s to approve the conceptual plan for implementation,mitigation and monitoring strategies for the Forest Service's Ashland Fire Resiliency project. Motion passed unanimously. Commission directed Main and staff to draft a letter including these strategies and then email the draft letter to the commission,Frank Betlejewski and Darren Borgias. If there were any major objects a special commission meeting would be held. If not,the letter would be sent by October 1 St VI. OLD BUSINESS:None VII. COMMISSIONER COMMENTS:None VII.
