To the Intergovernmental Agreement(IGA) between
THE CITY OF ASHLAND, ("Ashland") and
THE CITY OF TALENT, ("Talent")
For Law Enforcement Services and Training
RECITALS
A. Talent and Ashland previously entered into an IGA on June 1, 2021 (the"Agreement") to
provide law enforcement services in Talent and was amended on December 20, 2021 (the
"Amendment No I").
B. The Agreement and Amendment No 1 expire on May 31, 2026.
C. Both parties wish to substantially continue the agreement with the following changes.
AGREEMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual benefits and obligations set forth herein,
the parties agree as follows,which is effective upon being signed by both parties:
1. To continue the Agreement,Amendment No 1, and Amendment No 2,with the original
terms and conditions to remain in full force and effect, except as specifically modified
herein.
2. Amend the Term of the Agreement to extend the term of the Agreement,to expire on June
1, 2031.
3. Parties agree to amend Section 2 subsection j, in which both parties agree that the hourly
fee for officer is raised from $114 to $121.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties have caused this Amendment No. 2 to be signed in their
respective names by their duly authorized representatives as of the dates set forth below:
