HomeMy WebLinkAbout2026-03 Approving Supplemental Budget and Budget Adjustements for 2025-2027 Biennial Budget RESOLUTION NO. 2026-03 A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL BUDGET AND BUDGET APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS FOR THE 2025-2027 BIENNIAL BUDGET PERIOD BEGINNING DULY 1,2025. RECITALS: A. The City of Ashland 2025-27 Biennium Budget was adopted on June 6,2025,for the period of July 1, 2025,through June 30, 2027. THE CITY OF ASHLAND HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. 1. The following proposed budget adjustments are authorized by ORS 294.473. Oregon Budget Law requires a public hearing and published summary of changes if the proposed supplemental budget will change any fund's expenditures by more than 10 percent. The change to the Capital Improvement Fund expenditures is greater than 10 percent, therefore a public hearing will be held and the following proposed budget adjustments are requested: Increase Appropriation Decrease Appropriation General Fund Transfer Out $200,000 Contingency — $200,000 $200,000 $200,000 General Fund: Reduce Contingency and increase expenditure appropriation by $200,000 in Transfers Out due to the cost of the remodel of Pioneer Hall and Community Center. Increase Appropriation Increase Resource Capital Improvement Fund Public Works—Capital Outlay $200,000 Transfer In $200,000 $200,000 $200,000 Capital Improvement Fund: Recognize the Transfer In from the General Fund and appropriate the capital outlay requirements for the remodel of Pioneer Hall and Community Center. Per ORS 294.473, renumbered from 294.480,this budget adjustment brings the Capital Improvement Fund resources for the 2025-27 biennium budget to$958,634 and the Capital Improvement Fund,Public Works—Construction Capital Outlay requirements to $958,634.
