As the owner(s) of the property listed above, ! hereby consent to the following improvements, dedication, or other
actions as required by the City of Ashland, and agree to bear the proportionate payment of associated costs. This Agreement
is to be binding upon myself/ourselves, my/our heir(s), executors, and assigns, and it is my/our express intention that this
Agreement shall run with the land, so that fulfillment of the items listed below shall be binding upon future owners of the
property.

AGREE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR THE FUTURE SIDEWALK
IMPROVEMENTS TO BELLVIEW AVENUE; AND AGREE TO THE WAIVER OF RIGHTS SET FORTH IN
18.68.150 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE; AND AGREE TO PAY ASSIGNED SHARE OF SUCH
DESIGNATED IMPROVEMENT COSTS.

To Whom it May Concern,
We are writing this letter to strongly disagree and protest the City's requirements to
acquire final inspections and building permit for our new garage and guest structure at
979 Bellview Ave. Ashland, Oregon.
You have stated and demanded that we must agree not to contest or object to future
LID improvements to Bellview Ave. If we do not object, then we will be awarded the
privilege of obtaining a final building permit and occupancy permit for our new garage
and guest room facility. We are protesting the forced signing of your LID approval
document.
We have paid the full fees required by the City for a building permit, inspections and
occupancy permit and you have accepted and deoosited those fees in full.
We strongly feel the City's actions are coercion and/or extortion, and if you will, a
violation of our constitutional rights by denying us our privileges as tax paying citizens
of Ashland.
We, as Bellview Avenue residents, reserve the right to determine if a future LID district
is formed to provide future sidewalks or improvements to Bellview Avenue and we
should be able to voice our opinion without fear of reprisal by the city.
We are normally quiet and not troublesome residents unless we are being violated
and we feel we are being violated .We are signing the attached "LID agreement
document" as required by the Ashland Planning Department, under duress and object
with angry passion.
