ZONING INFRACTIONS AND PENALTIES ORDINANCE ADJOURNMENT Chairman Pro-tem Ragland led the Pledge of Allegiance and called the meeting to order at 7:30 P.M., on the above date in the Council Chambers. Drescher, Hamilton, Phelps and Ragland were present. Ragland opened the public hearing concerning State Revenue Sharing. City Administrator Almquist reviewed the Budget Committee's recom- mendations concerning the anticipated State Revenue Sharing resour- ces. Ragland asked for conments or questions from the audience and there were none. He then closed the public hearing and Almquist sai, that the supplemental budget hearing would be held on August 8, 1977 Phelps moved for approval of the Budget Committee's reconmendations; Drescher seconded and on roll call, all YES. Ragland said that Laws wished to defer Southern Oregon Cable TV franchise negotiations until August 2, 1977. No objection was voiced. Phelps said he could not attend the August 2 meeting. City Administrator Almquist gave second reading by title only of an Ordinance electing to receive State Revenue Sharing pursuant to Sen- ate Bill 11. Drescher moved for adoption; Hamilton seconded and the mction passed unanimously upon roll call vote. City Administrator Almquist gave second reading of an Ordinance amending Ashland Municipal Code which relates to the lighting of signs. Hamilton moved for adoption; Drescher seconded and the motion passed unanimously upon roll call vote. City Administrator Almquist gave second reading of an Ordinance amending Sections 18.060.100 and 17.32.050, and adding new Section 1.08.020 to the Ashland Municipal Code to provide for infractions, and a penalty for violation thereof. Drescher moved for adoption; P Phelps seconded and the motion passed unanimously upon roll call vote. Ragland adjourned the Council until Friday, July 29, 1977 at 5:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
