ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL
September 14, 1976
A special meeting of the City Council was called by Council
members McDowell and McCannon for 4:00 p.m. on the above date.
Council Chairman McCannon called the meeting to order in Council
Chambers at 4:10 p.m. when a quorum was present consisting of
McCannon, Allen, Ragland and McDowell. Mayor Prickett and Council-
men Hoffarth and Laws were absent.
Chairman McCannon announced that the purpose of the special
meeting was to consider the counter offer of Alfred and Edith
Willstatter for the purchase of "Twin Plunges", but he felt this
to be such an important decision that all Council members should
have a voice in the decision. Noting that the counter-offer is
good until noon on September 15, 1976, McCannon moved to adjourn
