ROLL CALL:
ORDINANCE
WALKER AVENUE:
The Ashland City Council met in adjourned session at I1:00
A.M. on the above date in Council Chambers. Mayor Prickett
and Councilmen Allen, Hoffarth, McCannon and Laws were
present; Councilman Ragland and Councilwoman McDowell were
absent.
Recorder Butler gave the second reading by title only of
an ordinance ordering the improvement of Walker Avenue from
Hiawatha Place to Peachey Road by constructing paving
thereon; authorizing the assessment of cost of said improve-
ment against property to be benefitted thereby, and provi-
ding that warrants issued for the cost thereof be general
obligation of the City of Ashland. Laws moved to adopt the
ordinance. Hoffarth seconded the motion, which passed with
Allen, Hoffarth and Laws voting in the affirmative and
McCannon abstaining.
LIQUOR LICENSE:
Butler presented an application for renewal of a liquor
dispenser's license for Angelo's Pizza Parlor. Hoffarth
moved that recommendation be granted. McCannon seconded,
and mot[on passed on unanimous voice vote.
