The meetzng was called to order by Mayor McKeen at 7:30 P.M. Councilmen Cottle, Haines, Jones, O'Harra and RobeEts were p~esent, Councilman Willstatter was absent, APPROVAL OF MINU'TES: It was moved by Haines, seconded by Jones that the minutes of the last regular meeting oE January 21, 1969, be approved and placed on file. Finance & Proper~y Con~ttee - Chairman Cottle indicated that a meetin~ of the commiEtee was held w~th City AdminlstIator Boshears and Public Wo£ks Director Alsln~ ~n ~ttendance~ At that time, staff was requested to provide ~acts and f~.gures Iegardlng annexations and any advantages obta~ued by the City with regard to annexatron ot land located on ff~nge =~feas ~L the City. C~ty Admil~.strator Boshears read letter to Council, There was some discussion zeghrdlng Mio Vorls' first appeal to Council during the specitied appeal time prior to the actual assessment, It was moved by Cottte, seconded by O'Harra that the matter be referred to the Council as a whole at a study session, The date decided upon ~or the study session is Tuesday, February 1i, at 7:30 P.M. ~n the Council Chambers= On roll call, carried unani- mously. He questioned the $9 esttmate, mndicating that he had heard that the price inay be considerably higher that $9.
