HomeMy WebLinkAbout1969-1030 ADJOURNED MINMINUTES FOR ADJOURNED MEETING ASHLAND CITY COUNCIL OCTOBER 30, 1969 The Common Council of the City of Ashland met in adjourned session at 4:30 p.m. this date. Councilmen Haines, Jones, O'Harra and Roberts weIe present. Councilmen Bailer and Willstatter were absent. Mayor McKeen presided. Purpose of meeting to pass resolution applying fon 75 per- cent of grant funds to be provided by the Economic Development Administration, U. S. Department of Commerce, for Project No. 07-1-00567. Following some discussion, Councilman Haines requested a reading of the resolution. Following reading of the resolution by City Attorney Skerry, it was moved by Haines, seconded by Roberrs that the rules be suspended and resolution passed to second reading by title only. On roll call, carried unanimously. Following second reading by title only, it was moved by Haines, seconded by O'Harra that the resolution be adopted. On roll call, carried unanimously. City Administrator Boshears requested an extension of bid opening on line truck to 1 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 1969. It was moved by O'Harra, seconded by Haines that the extension be granted and that all parties bidding be notified. On roll call, carried unanimously. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the Mayor. 1cr Citly Recorder
