Following review of the lease by the Council, the City Administrator read a resolution authorizing the execution of that certain lease between the City of Ashland and Charles E. Close and Loren S. City Administrator Boshears reported that bids had been received from the State Procurement Service for the dump truck. Apparent low bidder was Tague Motors - $5,306.16. It was indicated that Lithia Motors was the only local bidder who placed their bid through the State. Other local dealers declined to bid through the State because of all the paper work involved. Staff recommended that the bid received from the State be refused and the bids be resubmitted on a local basis with an alternate--bid with trade-in and without trade- in. It was moved by O'Harra, seconded by Bailer that the staff's reeo~nendation be adopted. Considerable discussion follcwed. On roll call, carried unanimously. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the Mayor. City Recorder 1cr
