On roll call, carried unanimously, Council Minu~es Page 2 Februar 2~ From Mr~ and Mrs° Gu R~ Engle appealing parking control at CP and Baum Streetsl The Engel's listed several reasons for appealj no-parking sign at the corner of Church Street and Baum Street~ indicated that since Baum Street is technically an alley and not and that only two homes front this alley and only guests of th~ homes park on the street and at no time is the corner blocked by They also pointed out that a fire truck was called to this streel separate occasions~ with no difficulty or trouble to the fire tr~ They stated that the sign is unsightly and detracts, as it has b~ placed in Their yard. Following some discussion, it was moved b! seconded by Roberts that this matter be referred back to the Str~ Traffic Committee~ On roll call, carried unanimously° 3. The streets were as Wisconsin Street from Hospital Drive east to the end (aDprox~ 3C Hospital ~rive f~om the Boulevard south to Wisconsin Street; As~ Street from Palm eastward to the coXlege (approx~ 125 ft.); Mad~ east from !ndiana to the college property (approx~ 143 fto); All from indiana eastward between Siskiyou Boulevard and Madrone St~ college property ~approx. 130 fto); Stadium Street from Highway Webster Streetl Xt was moved by Cottle, seconded by Baker that be referred to the Streets and Traffic Committee° On roll call SPECIAL AGENDA ITEMS: A~ Unfinished Business: 1 Result of bids - air compressor, Public Works Department° of Public Works Alsing indicated that bids had been received fr companies, ranging from $3,600 high, to the low bid of $2,956~ bidder was Balzer Machinery Company with a delivery date of 60 It was moved by Ward, seconded by Cottle that the low bid of $2 from Balzer Machinery Col, be accepted.
