1. Letters from Edith Green and John Dellenback concurring in
ob3ectmon to discontinuance of the Cascade. C~ty Adm~nxstrator

It was moved by O'Harra and seconded by Roberrs Ehat ~he letters

2. Letter from William R. and Gwen cones Piersoil requesting water
and sewer hooKup. It was indicated in the letter that Mr~ Blegie,
former City Administr'ator of Ashland, ga{je Mrs. Pzerson's father

Main S~reet. City Admanistrato~ Boshears pointed out that the
property tn question zs outside the City limits and ~t l~s been the
Counc~l's policy an the past to not extend water and sewer hookups

3. City ~dmlnistrator indicated that a letter was :eceljed from
Mr. ~U~n~/ Thon~as, Ashland L~,quor Store, r'equest~ng two 15-m~nuue
pa,rking~zones on Main and Oak Streets. After some dLSZUSSLOn,
it was decided that thms letter should be telerred to the Streets
& Traffic Committee for investigation.
4. Request from Dean Phelps, Donald Lewis and Earl
Southern Oregon College, concerning varlo~s st[oct lmpr'o%eme~t
items. Following reading of letter by City Admlni. srrator Boshears,

1. Award of bids - three vehicles, two police cars and one
City Adm~lstrator Station wagon. It was the recoJunendarlon
of the P~nanc7e Director ch~t low bid be accepted Lot the
police ci~s ~rom Selby Chevrolet at $3,950, which included
two trade-N~s. Th~s amount was $550 above the budget estimate.
Low b~d for the station wagon was also submatted by Selby
