7:30 P,M. by Mayor Richard L, Neill. Prosant - Councilmen Kerr, Peters, Warde Lewis
and WhiCham. Absent - Councilman Baker,

Third Street between Siekiyou and Litbt~ Way. City Administrator Ayve
stated that this area is presently rec~ivin~ ~ "fsce-li~ting" with new
curb being installed and parking spaces painted ins and augRested that
the Council defer sati0n un this matter until the work is completed
in hopes that this will improve the situation. Mayor Neill directed
City Administrator Ayre to report on this matter st the next regular
council meeting.

Skerry read s resolUtion authorising the exercising of the o_n_tion to
· purchase 53,42 acres and certain persOnal ~x~pert7 from Hinnie Owen
Parker. ' Moved by .~;erd, Seconded by Peters that trader a suspension of the
rules said resolution be passed to second reading by title o~ly. On
roll call, Carried unanimously..Following second reading by Attorney
SkerzT, moved by Petersm Seceded by~ Ward t_h~t said resolution be

seconded by Kerr that the Water Camultras be directed to investigate
the w~ter riflts involved with the property. City Administrator Ayre
stated that since the City would now own the pr_cmerty, they would have
to fol~Mlly enter into an a~eement with Mr. PeTfell. A lease has been
submitted by P~r, Pertell but Ay~e slated that he has not had sufficient

property for the 9th of November, Due to an oversight the Planning Co~qi~ion was
not informed. of the last date set for public hearing, Also, SkerrJr reque~'~ed the
Council to.hold ~' ~ublic hearing for the rexonin~ of this ~ro..nerty on November
