AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1361, THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND, AND
SECTION 18.12.050 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE,
TO REZONE CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM JACKSON COUNTY
RR~S (RURAL RESIDENTIAL-S AC. MIN.), TO CITY R-1
(SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL). (Ashland Hills
Annexation No. 5).
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 1361 and Section 18.12.030
of the Ashland Municipal Code be, and the same hereby is, amenBed
to xezone from Jackson County RR~5 (Rural Residential-S Acre mini-
mum) District, to City R-l, (Single Family Residential) District,
the following described real property, to-wit:
Tax Lot 500
Beginning at a point on the East line of Government
Lot 10, in Section 11, Township 39 South, Range 1
Eastof the Willamette Meridian, in Jackson County,
Oregon which point bears North 0°11' East 708.54 feet
from the Southeast corner of said lot; thence along
said lot line, North 0°11' East, 200.0 feet; thence
South 51°45' East, 171.40 feet; thence South 34052'
East, 114.42 feet to a point East of the point of
beginning; thence West, 200.0 feet to the point of
beginning.
ALSO INCLUDING:
A right of way or easement of ingress and egress run-
ning from the public road commonly known as Highway 66,
to and through the tract in which is contained the
above described real property, and adjacent to the said
above described real property. Said easement or right
of way shall be no less than 40.0 feet in width and
shall run in various directions from said Highway 66 to
the various parcels constituting the tract inwhich the
subject real property is contained. Said easement or
right of way herein granted is not for the exclusive use
and benefit of the Grantees, bu~ is to be used by them
in common with other parties using or owning'adjoining
or adjacent parcels of real property in the immediate vic-
inity of the above described parcel and within the tract
containing said described parcel. Said easement or right
of way shall hereafter be specifically subject to the
reservation of this easement or right of way herein made.

Beginning at a point on the East line of Government Lot 10,
in Section 11, Township 39° South, Range 1 East of the Wil-
lemetic Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon, which point bears
North 0°11' East 608.34 feet from the Southeast corner of
said lot, thence North 0oll' East along said lot line 100.0
feet; thence East 200.0 feet; thence South 34° S2' East
121.88 feet; thence West 270.0 feet to the point of beginning.
Together with an easement appurtenant over and across a 40.0
foot roadway running along the East line of the above des-
cribed property as disclosed in easement from Carl F, Roberrs,
et ux, to John E. Wigen, recorded May 10, 1972 as Document No.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the offf dayof~
