AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ASHLAND COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AND MAKING FINDINGS
OF FACT IN SUPPORT THEREOF.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. The Ashland Comprehensive Plan is hereby amended
to designate the land described in Exhibit "A" hereto as Urban Low
Density Residential. Said land is more particularly described as
Tax Lots 5500, 5600, 6200, 6300, 6400 and 6500 on Assessor's Map 9CA.
SECTION 2. The Comprehensive Plan change contained in
Section 1 hereof is based upon the Finding that the designation in the
Comprehensive Plan of the subject land as Suburban Residential was due
to a drafting error and that the original intent of the City of Ashland
was to designate the subject land as set forth in Section 1 hereof.
The foregoing Ordinance was first read at a regular meeting
of the Common Council held on the/q~ay of ~Q~E~J , 197 F, and

THE FOLLOWING REQUEST WILL BE HELD BEFORE THE
PLANNING COMMISSION ON THE IITH DAY OF OCTOBER,
1978 AT 7:30 P.M. IN THE ENGLISH LECTURE HALL
OF ASHLAND SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL, ASHLAND, OREGON.
AT SUCH PUBLIC HEARING ANY PERSON IS ENTITLED TO
BE HEARD.
A request for consideration of Comprehensive
Plan Change #9 from Surburban Residential (up to
7 units per acre) to Urban Low Residential (up
to 20 units per acre), in order to correct a
presumed drafting error affecting the following
lots located between Iowa and Holly Streets west
of Gresham Street (tax lots 5500, 5600, 6200, )
6300, 6400, and 6500; assessor's map 9CA).
APPLICANT: City'of Ashland
The Citizen Planning Advisory Committee (CPAC)
will also review this proposed Comprehensive Plan
Change with respect to Statewide Planning Goals
at its regularly-scheduled October 5, 1978
meeting (7:30 p.m., Council Chambers of City Halt
Ashland, Oregon). The public is invited to
attend.
