A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-08
AND 79-55 ADOPTING A PAY PLAN AND CONDITIONS
OF EMPLOYMENT FOR MANAGEMENT AND CONFIDENTIAL
EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS,
settlements have been reached with 4 of the City's labor
organizations, which settlements average 7.97% in increased
wages and benefits; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the City to maintain its management
compensation plan at a level commensurate with such
union settlements.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council as follows:
SECTION 1. The salary schedule in Resolution No. 82-08 shall be
amended by 6% effective 3uly 1, 1982. Classifications shall be added
as set forth in Appendix "A" attached hereto.
SECTION 2. Article V, Section 1 of Resolution No. 79-55 shall be
amended by adding thereto "Employees'Birthday, or alternate day sel-
ected by the employee".
SECTION 3. Appendix "C", Section 10 of Resolution No.79-55 shall be
amended to read as follows:
"Section 10. Dental Insurance
The City agrees to pay premiums for Blue Cross Option III Dental
Plan for management and confidential employees and their families."
SECTION 4. A new Section 11 shall be added to Appendix "C" of
Resolution No. 79-55, which shall read as follows:
"Section 11. Medical Insurance for Retirees.
Any employee retiring after July 1, 1982 with fifteen (15) or more
years service with the City, and who is a~e 60 or older, shall
be eligible for participation in the City's medical znsurance
program, with the City contributing the cost of Blue Cross Medichec
65 program, or its equivalent.
SECTION 5. The City Labor Consultant shall be eligibl~ for the pick-up
of contributions to the Public Employee Retirement System, effective
August 1, 1982.
The foregoing Resolution was READ and DULY ADOPTED at a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Ashland on the~day of_~=~,
