AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SCHEDULE 10 OF ORDINANCE NO.
1776 AND SECTION 14.04.030 OF THE ASIII,AND MUNICIPAL
CODE, WHICH PRESCRIBED THE IYATER SERVICE CONNECTION
RATES tVITHIN THE CITY LIMITS: AND DECLARING AN EMER-
GENCY.
THE PEOPLE OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Schedule 10 of Ordinance No. 1776 and Section
~4.04.030 of the Ashland Municipal Code is hereby amended
as set forth on "Exhibit B" attached hereto and incorpora-
ted into this ordinance -as though fully set forth herein,
and shall set forth the water service connection rates with-
in the city limits.
SECTION 2. It is hereby adjudged and declared that the
existing conditions are such that this Ordinance is nec-
essary for the preservation of the public health and
safety of the people of the City of Ashland and an emergency
is hereby declared to exist and this Ordinance shall take
effect and be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and approval of the Mayor.
The foregoing ordinance was first read on the~/~/ day of

WATER AND SEWER DIVISION
Water Service Connect Rates Within the City Limits
Effective~T~£~ ~ 1974
Application: These rates shall apply to all Water Service Con-
nects within the City Limits as are permitted under the Regula-
tions Governing Water Service.
RATES:
(When main is provided by subdivider pursuant
to Ordinance No. 1318, and application for
service is made within 10 years of installation):

For properties outside the boundaries of a sub- .
division, the applicant for service shall pay
to the City, an additional fee sufficient to
reimburse the subdivider on a pro-rata basis
for said main.

A surcharge of $200.00 is required for service connect-
ions above the Talent Irrigation Ditch where booster
pumping has been provided by the City.
