Home My WebLink About1984-26 Water Rate Schedule RESOLUTION NO. 84-~ A RESOLUTION ADOPTING WATER RATE SCHEDULES PURSUANT TO SECTION 14.04.030 OF THE ASHLAND MUNICIPAL CODE. THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ASHLAND DO RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The "Water Rate Schedules" marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein are hereby adopted as the water rates for use and sale of water within and without the city limits from the municipal water system. SECTION 2. Three (3) copies of this Resolution and attached Water Rate Schedules shall be maintained in the office of the City Recorder and shall be available for public inspection during business hours. SECTION 3. The rates adopted pursuant to this resolution shall be effective with water meter readings taken on or after June 1, 1984. SECTION 4. Resolution No. 82-49 is hereby repealed on the effective date of this Resolution as specified in Section 3 hereof. Mayor EXHIBIT "A" WATER RATE SCHEDULES City of Ashland, Oregon Resolution No. 84-~ Adopted: ~/~/?-~ Effective: June 1, 1984 Schedule 1 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER qUALITY DIVISION Residential Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all single family residential services within the city limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. This rate also included units initially constructed for individual ownerships (condominiums, or planned unit developments), or conversions from existing multiple family uses to individual ownerships. Rates, per month: A. Minimum Charge: Service Size Minimum Charge A - 3/4 Inch $7.75 B 1 " 13.00 C 1~ " 24.00 D 2 " 35.00 B. Basic Charge: The basic monthly service charge for all customers shall be $5.50. C. Consumption Charge: The charge for all water consumed shall be calculated at 65¢ per 100 cubic feet of water used. In condominiums or planned unit developments which are master metered, the total water consumed in a billing period shall be appor- tioned equally among the active accounts during said billing period. D. Booster Pumping Charge: A surcharge of $3.60 per month is required for service connections for electric energy where booster pumping is provided by the City. Schedule 2 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Commercial Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all Commercial and Industrial services within the city limits as are now permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. per month: Minimum Charge: Service Size Minimum Monthly Charge A - 3/4 Inch $8.75 B - 1 " 14.00 C - 1~ " 25.00 D - 2 " 40.00 E - 3 " 85.00 F - 4 " 145.00 G - 6 " 300.00 H - 8 " 500.00 mo Rates, Co Where a water service of 4" or larger also serves a private fire protection system, the foregoing minimum charges shall be twenty-five percent (25%) of the above. Basic Charge: The basic monthly service charge for all customers shall be $5.50. Consumption Charge: First 10,000 cu. ft. of water @65¢ per 100 cu. ft. Next 40,000 cu. ft. of water @60¢ per 100 cu. ft. Next 200,000 cu. ft. of water @55¢ per 100 cu. ft. Excess over 250,000 cu. ft. @50¢ per 100 cu. ft. ~Schedule 3 City of Ashland, Oregon~ WATER QUALITY DIVISION TID Irri~ation Water Rate Within the Effective: June 1, 1984 City Limits Application: This rate shall apply to all TID Irrigation service within the city limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: A. Fire Schedule 4 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Protection Service Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all Fire Protection Services within the city limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: Service Size Charse Per Month Ail $5.50 In the event that water from a private fire system is used for fire suppression, such water shall not be billed as domestic consumption, but the billing for an average month shall be used in lieu thereof. Schedule 5 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Bulk Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all Bulk Water Service within the city limits as is permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: $35.00 for the first 500 cubic feet. Excess to be calculated at the same rate as provided for commercial-industrial water service inside the city limits. A deposit of $100o00 shall be made as guarantee that City meter, valve, and wrench will be returned in undamaged condition and that water bill has been paid, Schedule 6 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Residential Water Rate Outside the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all Residential services outside of the city limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: The rate shall be one and one-half (la) times the rate set forth in Schedule 1, "Residential Water Rate Within the City Limits", and shall apply to the minimum charge as well as the block rate. Schedule 7 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Commercial Water Rate Outside of City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all Commercial Services outside of the city limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: The rate shall be one and one-half (1~) times the rate set forth in Schedule 2, "Commercial and Industrial Water Rate Within the City Limits", and shall apply to the minimum charge as well as the block rate. Schedule 8 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Fire Protection Service Water Rate Outside the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all Fire Protection services and fire hydrant use outside the city limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. Rate: The rate shall be one and one-half (1%) times the rate as set forth in Schedule 4, "Fire Protection Service Rate Within the City Limits". In the event that water from a private fire system is used for fire suppression, such water shall not be billed as domestic consumption, but the billing for an average month shall be used in lieu thereof. Schedule 9 City of Ashland, Oregon WATER QUALITY DIVISION Domestic Irrigation Water Rate Within the City Limits Effective: June 1, 1984 Application: This rate shall apply to all Domestic Irrigation services within the city limits as are permitted under the Regulations Governing Water Service. per month: A.
