Should the City desire to amend the contract of 11/20/91 for planning services, I have prepared the following cost estimate: Field examination of property, 1.0 days at 400 = 400 Interviews and data collection, 0.5 days at 400 = 200 Analysis and incorporation into plan 1.0 days at 400 = 400 TOTAL $1000 The revised total compensation for the contract would be $21,860. Clause 4 of the existing contract would seem to require a separate written contract. The first paragraph on page 6, however, infers written notification by the City would suffice. In my view a simple amendment to the contract stating the City's wishes to include the Brevik parcel, coupled with a legal description and the cost estimate provided herein would suffice. We have completed most of our field work, and are on schedule to complete the public meetings in March, and have a draft plan ready for review in April. I am sure you can understand our desire to have your decision as soon as possible. Sincerely,
