Arch-Diocese of Portland, in Oregon, Grantor, conveys and
warrants to CITY OF ASHLAND, a municipal corporation, Grantee,
the following real property described on the attached Exhibit A,
free of encumbrances except as specifically set forth herein.
THIS INSTRUMENT WILL NOT ALLOW USE OF THE PROPERTY DESCRIBED
IN THIS INSTRUMENT IN VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE LAND USE LAWS
AND REGULATIONS. BEFORE SIGNING OR ACCEPTING THIS
INSTRUMENT THE PERSON ACQUIRING FEE TITLE TO THE PROPERTY
SHOULD CHECK WITH THE APPROPRIATE CITY OR COUNTY PLANNING
DEPARTMENT TO VERIFY ITS USES.
The true and actual consideration for this conveyance is ONE

RIGHT OF WAY DESCRIPTION
Commencing at the Southeast corner of Donation Land Claim No.
45, Township 59 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Base and
Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon;
THENCE South 00 degrees 12 minutes 45 seconds West (deed
record South, 1217.7 feet) for a distance of 1217.70 feet;
THENCE North 89 degrees 47 minutes 17 seconds West (deed
record Volume 18, Page 488= West, 196.68 feet) for a distance of
196.68 feet to the Northeast corner of that t'ract of land conveyed
by W.N. Atkinson and wife, et al, to W.F. Loomis and as set forth
in Volume 18, Page 488 of the Deed Records of Jackson County,
Oregon;
THENCE continuing North 89 degrees 47 minutes 17 Seconds West
(deed record West) along the Northerly boundary line of said
Loomis tract and being parallel with the South line of Donation
Land Claim No. 45 for a distance of 295.55 feet (deed record

tract of land identified as 'Tract B' in that conveyance frem
Walter L. Hash and Mary V. Hash, husband and wife to Alta AlviS, a
single woman and set forth in Volume 420, Page 290 of the Deed
Records of Jackson County, Oregon for the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
THENCE continuing North 89 degrees 47 minutes 17 seconds West
(deed record West) along said Loomis North boundary line and
parallel with the South line of Donation Land Claim No. 45 for a
distance of 146,89 feet (deed record 146.52 feet) to the Northwest
corner of said 'Tract B' as set forth in Volume 420, Page 298 of
the-Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon;
THENCE South 00 degrees 12 minutes 45 seconds West (deed
record South) along the Westerly boundary line of said 'Tract B'
for a distance of 20.00 feet;
THENCE leaving said Westerly boundary line South 89 degrees
47 minutes 17 seconds East and parallel with the South boundary
