HomeMy WebLinkAbout1991-012 Agrmt - Duane VenekampAPPRAISAL FEE AGREEMENT I/We City of Ashland hereby retain Duane Venekamp, independent fee appraiser, doing business as Venekamp Realty and Appraisal Service, 4119 South Pacific Highway, Medford, Oregon to appraise the following real property, located at or described as: M.D. Imperatrice property 890.?3 acres and Kimberly White property 376.3 acres. for the following purpose estimate market value It is understood that the Fee shall be based upon a daily rate of $600.00 and an hourly rate of $75.00. In addition expenses for travel, mileage, meals, lodging, and other out-of-pocket costs to acquire maps, and professional assistance, if needed, will be itemized and charged in addition to the daily or hourly rate. Unless otherwise agreed in advance, payment for services rendered shall be made within thirty (30) days of the delivery of the appraisal report. Any late payment is subject to a 1 1/2% per month service charge. Client shall provide Venekamp Realty and Appraisal Service with access to all records and other pertinent information From its Files which may be of assistance to completion of the appraisal and will mske Full disclosure of all information which would be applicable. In the event it becomes necessary to institute legal action to enforce this fee agreement, the prevailing party shall be entitled to a reasonable attorney's fee, at trial or on appeal, in addition to costs and disbursements allowed by law. The initial appraisal Fee does not cover testimony or court appearances. The billing procedure for testimony/court appearances unless otherwise agreed in writing is to charge For travel time, meals, mileage, and time invo]ved.
