James R. Ochs and Myrna Ochs, grantors, convey to the City
of Ashland,.Oregon, a municipal corporation, grantee, a perpetual
easement over the real property of grantors described in Exhibit
"A", attached hereto and incorporated by this reference herein,
which easement is more particularly described in Exhibit "B",
attached hereto and incorporated by this reference herein, for
the purpose of causing to be constructed and maintaining therein,
wholly beneath the surface of the ground a twelve inch sanitary
sewer line as part of the public sanitary sewer system of the
said city, including a right to go upon the premises described in
Exhibit "A" with such men and equipment as may be necessary to
accomplish the purposes hereof, reserving to grantors the right
to possess and make such use of the premises above described as
shall not conflict with the said city in the exercise of this
easement.

Beginning at the Southwest corner of Donation Land Claim No. 44 in Township 39 South,
Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson County, Oregon; 'thence South 5.28
chains; thence East 11.50 chains; thence North 45.28 chains, to the North line of
said Claim No. 44; thence West on said Claim line 11.50 chains to the Northwest corner
thereof; thence South 40.00 chains to the true point of beginning.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM the following: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Donation Land
Claim No. 44 in Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian, Jackson
County, Oregon; thence South 348.50 feet; thence East 414.70 feet; thence North 1261.20
feet; thence West 414.70 feet; thence South 912.70 feet to the true point of beginning.

A Sanitary Sewer Easement over, across, and through a strip of land, lO.O.
feet in width lying 5.0 feet on each side of, when measured at right angles
therefrom, the following described centerline:
Commencing at a 6 inch diameter concrete post with a 3 inch diameter bronze
disk situated at the Southwest corner of Donation Land Claim No. 44, Township
39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Base and Meridian, Jackson County,
Oregon; thence North 00o06'22'' East along the West boundary line of said claim,
917.585 feet to the Northwest corner of that tract or parcel of land as set
forth in Volume 441, page 288 of the Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon
and shown on that map of survey filed in the Office of the Jackson County
Surveyor as number 8597; thence leaving said claim line, South 89o53'38'' East,
along the Northerly boundary line of that tract or parcel of land as herein-
above referred to, 5.00 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; thence North
00o06'22'' East along the centerline of said easement, 415.3 feet, more or less,
to the centerline of the existing City of Ashland sanitary sewer line and there
terminating.
