KNOW ALL MEN BY TItESE PRESENTS:
That Robert [4. S~ogren, Sr. a~ Amenta S~ogren
do hereby grant an Easement unto tile CITY OF ASIILAND, a Municipal corporation
of tile State of Oregon, for and in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00)
which Easement is for installation and perpetual
maintenance of public utilities and including underground electric,
telephone and cable television lines.
and which Easement is over the property situated in Jackson County, Oregon,
described, as follows, to-wit:
See attached Exhibit "A"
It shall be further understood that the City of Ashland
shall repair any and all damage to the grantor's property
resulting from operations performed by the City. All
repairs shall be made to the satisfaction of the grantor.
Further, any utility comp gny utilizin~ this easement shall
likewise repair any damage to the comolete satisfaction of
the grantor.
The Grantors warrant that they are the owners of said real
property free ~.nd c_l~ar of ali liens and encumbrances whatsoever, except
those of record on the below date.

Commencing at the Southwest corner of Donation Land Claim No. 40,
Township 39 South, Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian,
Jackson County, Oregon; which point bears East, 40.00 feet from a
found 3/4 inch crimped top iron pipe; thence North 00o04'40'' East
(deed record North, 951.06 feet) along the Westerly boundary line
of said Donation Land Claim, 951.06 feet to the Southwesterly
corner of that tract or parcel of land as set forth in Volume 262,
page 65 of the Deed Records of Jackson County, Oregon; thence
leaving said claim line, South 67o30'30'' East (deed record South
67°30'East) along the Southerly boundary line of that tract of
land herein above last referred to, 235.005 feet to a found 5/8
inch iron pin situated @ the Southeast corner of Parcel No. 2 of
that Major Land Partition filed for record the 29th day of

Beginning; thence continue North 22002'40'' East, 12.50 feet to the
Northerly boundary line of Parcel No. 3 of said Major Land
Partition; thence North 67o25'20'' West, along said Northerly
boundary line, 6.00 feet; thence leaving said Northerly boundary
line South 22o02'40'' West, 12.50 feet to the Northerly boundary
line of Parcel No. 2; thence South 67o25'20'' East, along said
Northerly boundary, 6.00 feet to the point of beginning.
